玄奘大學應用心理學系辦學績效卓著 樂活身心紓壓中心

玄奘大學應用心理學系辦學績效卓著，2020年大學部招生率達百分之百，在少子化浪潮下逆勢成長，為深化優秀辦學成果，玄奘大學應用心理學系進一步從大一新生的紮根做起，舉辦為期三天之新生訓練活動，以「心•健康•醫學」為主題，於第三天安排新生參訪彰濱秀傳醫院樂活身心紓壓中心，讓學生了解心理運作對人們健康之影響及心理學在健康與醫療業界之應用，期許新生於入學後的大學四年生涯裡，能夠妥善安排專業課程之學習，規劃未來生涯發展。由於今年情境特殊，玄奘大學應用心理學系仍然決定舉辦校外教學參訪活動，且內容更加精彩充實，實屬不易。
玄奘大學應用心理學系師生70人在醫院人員帶領下參訪該院之樂活身心紓壓中心，包括心理衡鑑室、心理會談室、生理回饋室、睡眠治療室，音樂治療室，芳療室、團體活動室、健身室等，醫院人員詳細簡介各項設施於儀器之功能及其對於心理健康之促進效果。
秀傳醫院雷震坤臨床心理師首先介紹目前國內對於心理疾患個案之三階段處理流程與對應機構，在預防階段有社區心理健康中心與心理治療所等，在治療階段有醫院門診、急性病房、慢性病房及日間病房等，在出院後安置階段有康復之家等，每一個階段之醫療機構都有臨床心理師所扮演的專業角色及工作任務，以協助個案恢復自我功能、重拾生活動機。玄奘大學應用心理學系古永利老師說明在醫事人員養成教育中，心理師是相當具有個人獨特性的，要成為一個好的心理師，必須從發掘與改善個人內心議題做起，以心理學專業知識與內省為基礎，逐步去克服發展階段中所遭遇之各種議題便能自我成長，不僅能自助更能成為助人者。
現今社會壓力相對以往更加沉重，現代人面臨更多心理問題，因此近年來與心理健康促進有關的服務是醫療界的發展新趨勢，心理學也成為廣受年輕學子歡迎之學科。玄奘大學應用心理學系創立20年來，已經培育出150多位心理師在醫院執業或在社區開設心理治療所與心理諮商所，現今進一步向下紮根，將心理學在健康與醫療業界之應用介紹給新生，讓學生能了解到「心•健康•醫學」之間關係，期許能激發學生對於大學四年的專業課程之學習，從心探索自我，規劃生涯新方向，讓大學生涯充實豐富，收穫滿行囊。
